Visa -
Tourists from most nations do not require a visa for a stay of less than 15 days, provided they have round trip tickets. Longer visits require a visa obtainable from Thai embassies and consulates. Tourist visas permit stays up to 90 days. For more information, contact the Thai embassy or consulate near you.

Travel Within Thailand- Various airlines operate a wide domestic network with daily flights linking all major cities. Ground transportation (buses and trains) are also very comprehensive and comparatively inexpensive.

Electricity - Thailand operates on 220 volts, 50 cycle AC power.

Clothing - Light, loose cotten clothing is best. Nylon should be avoided. Sweater are recommended when visiting mountainous areas or during the cooler season.

Currency - Thai's currency is Baht. US$ 1 = approx. 39-42 Baht

Train - The restored Hua Hin's Railway Station is an attraction in itself. It is just 3 km away from Guest House Hua Hin. There are about a dozen trains a day to/from Bangkok's Hua Lamphong Station.

Taxi - While hotel taxis have fixed tariffs, other taxis cruising the streets of Bangkok do have meters. It is not necessary to tip taxi drivers in Thailand.
